RADIESSE®
Structure, contour and lift, plus long-term collagen support
RADIESSE® is a dermal filler made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel. Injected at full strength, it adds structure right away. It lifts, contours and fills areas where volume has been lost.
As the gel is absorbed, the microspheres act as a scaffold that encourages your skin to make its own collagen and elastin. You get natural-looking results on day one that keep improving, often lasting a year or more.
What Radiesse treats
- Moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth)
- Jawline contour, with RADIESSE® (+), for adults over 21
- Volume loss in the back of the hands
Best for: Patients who want visible structure and definition: a sharper jawline, softer folds or fuller-looking hands.
Looking to tighten crepey skin instead of adding volume?
Radiesse can also be diluted and placed just under the skin, where it acts as a collagen-building skin treatment instead of a filler. That treatment is Radiesse Hyperdilute.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When will I see results?
Right away. The added structure is visible immediately, and collagen support continues to build over the following months.
How long do results last?
A year or more for many patients.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients need one session. Your provider may recommend a touch-up based on your goals.
Is there downtime?
Mild swelling, redness, bruising or tenderness may occur and usually resolves within a few days. Avoid strenuous activity and extended sun or heat for about 24 hours.
